The Kenningtones' grew out of an exciting project that brought community choirs from Lambeth and Southwark Borough Councils together. It performs at a variety of community events and sings a diverse range of music. There is a wide range of background, ability and experience but the joy of singing binds this group together under the expert leadership, musicianship and drive of Cerys Hogg, their conductor. Ideal for singers wishing to explore a variety of music styles and improve their ensemble performing skills.
What you need to get on
The Kenningtones is open to everyone - there are no auditions. Music is taught by ear although writing notation is distributed for anyone wishing to learn using the music sheet available. You just need a desire to sing, to have fun and to create some great music as a group.
