What the college says

Corndel’s Software Engineering Academy delivers configurable 18-month programmes designed to create outstanding software engineers. Our approach enables businesses to invest in world-class training for next generation software developers by using their Levy. The academy is a collaboration between Corndel and Softwire, one of the UK’s leading software houses. Softwire’s experienced software engineers deliver language-specific courses adapted from their in-house training methodology, using both bootcamps and one-to-one coaching. Aligned to the Level 4 Software Developer apprenticeship standard, this approach has been proven to take people with little coding experience and develop them into high-performing software engineers. We currently offer language-specific courses in Java, Javascript and C#. Courses are run in both an open and closed format. Open programmes are scheduled through the year. Course dates are available on our website. Closed programmes for groups of software engineers can be designed and delivered to meet specific business needs. Corndel also sources candidates for businesses seeking new software development talent. We are currently delivering this programme to both software development houses and IT teams within the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
