What the college says
The Corndel Level 3 Diploma in Management is aligned to the Team Leader / Supervisor apprenticeship standard and accredited by the Chartered Management Institute. It is a performance-focussed programme for first line managers in operational roles. The programme is built around one-to-one management coaching which embeds sustainable changes in management behaviours, alongside tailored workshops and guided self-learning. Each manager is paired with an experienced management coach, working one-to-one with them over 13 months to develop their management skills, knowledge and behaviour. Tailored workshops are designed to focus on specific organisational priorities, such as organisational communication, effective delegation, prioritisation and time management, or leadership styles. Managers also have access to Corndel’s library of e-learning videos, podcasts and online textbooks to develop understanding of leadership and management fundamentals and apply these to their role and responsibilities. Corndel delivers this programme as a closed group intervention to cohorts of 12+ managers, transforming organisations’ first line management capability to improve their operational performance. On completion, managers are awarded a CMI Level 3 Diploma in First Line Management. We are currently supporting first line managers across major employers in the logistics, manufacturing, the food and drink industry, retail, facilities management, construction sectors and within the NHS.
