Working in early years and childcare, you will have the opportunities to be involved in the learning and development of children. Throughout this course, you will enhance your knowledge and skills to effectively shape the lives and minds of young children. This programme will engage and support you on your journey, providing you with knowledge and understanding of babies and young children from birth to seven years with applied knowledge in the early years. This, along with industry experience in early years settings and primary schools offers the foundations of a career in early childhood.

3 GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, or a relevant Level 1 qualification.This course is subject to a cleared enhanced DBS check.

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
