The Technical Level 3 Certificate in Childcare and Education is a year long qualification which prepares students for the Technical Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator). Students are provided with knowledge with children from birth to 7 years and practical experience working with children from birth to 5 years.
What you need to get on
We typically require maths and English GCSE grade at 4 or higher to enrol on the technical level 3 certificate. Grade 4+ in a minimum of 3 other Level 2 subjects are an advantage but can be discussed at enrolment.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
