This course is suitable for learners who have successfully completed the level 1 Carpentry course or have specific Carpentry experience. You should have an interest in Carpentry and want to explore potential careers in the trade.
What you need to get on
Four GCSEs at grade 3 or above including maths and English, trade specific experience or a trade relevant level 1 qualification with maths and English at grade 3 or above (or Functional Skills level 1 or above). You will also be invited to attend an interview.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
