This is an excellent course of study if you are interested in a career in the Health and Social Care sector. You will learn about the human lifespan, social influences affecting health and well-being, care values and legislation standardising professional practice. You will also develop your understanding of a range of human problems and devise professional strategies to address these problems in order to meet physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs. This is a 13 unit qualification that focusses on research, communication skills, equality and diversity, individual rights, healthy living, health promotion, therapeutic activities, nutrition, using ICT and developing skills and qualities for Health and Social Care practice
