What the college says

The Digital Foundation T Level programme has been specifically designed to develop skills, experience, knowledge and behaviours to support progression onto a T Level. This is a very practical, hands-on course integrating new and emerging technologies and offers a high-quality vocational and applied curriculum that is broad and engaging. There will be an option to study specialist units such as Creating Digital Graphics and Computer Networks. This qualification will provide you with a Level 2 certificate. T Levels offer a unique way of learning, combining valuable industry experience with classroom study.

What you need to get on

Students will require a minimum of 4 GCSEs Grades 9-3 (Formerly Grades A*-D) including English and Maths, but with a Grade 4 (Formerly Grade D) or higher in either English or Maths, preferably a GCSE in Computer Science or IT equivalent

How you are assessed

Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
