Lindy Hop and Swing Dances - Intermediate9-weeks In this 9-week Intermediate Lindy Hop course, you will continue to develop your basic and variations on classic lindy hop figures, integrating them into your current practice. In the second part of the session, you will also learn steps from other swing dance styles, namely Balboa, Shag and Boogie Woogie (3 weeks of each). Exploring these other styles, you will widen your understanding and experience in Swing Dancing and be able to participate in more social dances and classes here and abroad. It will also support your deepening knowledge and skills in partnering technique and individual styling.

What you need to get on

You must have taken the 9-week Intermediate 1 Course (autumn), or be able to demonstrate an understanding of and the ability to social dance 6-count and 8-count Lindy Hop figures to take this course. Photography and film recording of class activities may be used in order to aid learning. These images may also be used for publicity or marketing materials produced by Morley College, both online and in print. You will have the opportunity to either confirm or decline consent to being filmed or phot
