What the college says

"This 5-week Swedish Body Massage course is designed for anyone who would like to learn safe, effective massage techniques to support the wellbeing of family and friends. Over five weekly 2-hour sessions, you'll be introduced to the foundations of Swedish body massage in a relaxed and supportive environment. The course focuses on practical, hands-on learning, teaching you how to perform a full-body relaxation massage using Swedish techniques. You'll learn how massage can help ease muscular tension, encourage relaxation, and promote a sense of wellbeing, while also understanding how to work safely and respectfully. The course covers correct posture and body mechanics, basic anatomy, awareness, client comfort, consent and when massage should not be given. This course is not a professional qualification, but is ideal for those who wish to use massage skills safely and confidently to support wellbeing."
