What the college says
This course combines a basic introduction to Childcare where you will study a Level 1 award in Introduction to Health and Social Care and Children�s and Young People�s Settings, along with learning essential employability skills, English and maths. You will cover a range of topics such as the roles and provision on offer, the principles and values of health and social care, communication and safeguarding. You will gain first-hand experiences of care within a wide range of settings, including residential care homes, nurseries and special educational needs schools.

There are no specific entry requirements. There will be a written taster day activity you will need to complete.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
