What the college says

If you're passionate about sport and boxing and want to turn that passion into a career, this course is your perfect starting point. Delivered by our college in partnership with Tamworth Boxing Club, this programme combines the nationally recognised NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Sport with the elite DiSE (Diploma in Sporting Excellence) boxing pathway. Its a unique opportunity to develop both academically and athletically. Youll study key topics like anatomy and physiology, sports coaching, fitness training, and psychology for performancegiving you a solid foundation in sport science and the skills employers and universities value. At the same time, youll train like a high-performance athlete under the guidance of England Boxing-qualified coaches, developing your boxing technique, tactical awareness, and physical conditioning. This dual approach means you dont have to choose between education and sportyou can excel in both. Whether your goal is to compete at a high level, become a coach, or work in the wider sport and fitness industry, this course sets you on the right path. Youll also gain essential life skills: teamwork, leadership, communication, and discipline. Plus, with access to real-world experiences like volunteering, work placements, and event planning, youll build a CV that stands out. If youre aged 1619, committed to boxing, and ready to push yourself in and out of the ring, this course is for you.
