This qualification is designed to support progression to higher education when taken as part of a programme of study that includes other appropriate BTEC Nationals or A Levels. Within this course you will be exploring job opportunities in the sport industry, understanding how the body responds to exercise, carrying out fitness testing to apply to the components of fitness and exploring the benefits of fitness training to enhance sporting performance.

Equivalent of five GCSE's Grade 5 and a merit in Sports Studies

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
