PHYSICAL EDUCATION The units covered will depend on the course you choose. Some units are mandatory, others are optional. The units covered on the courses include: Anatomy and Physiology - Unit 1 - Body Systems and the Effects of Physical Activity Bio-Mechanics - Unit 10 - Bio-Mechanics and Movement Analysis Sport Sociology - Unit 11 - Physical Activity for Specific Groups Health & Nutrition - Unit 12 - Nutrition and Diet for Sport and Exercise Coaching - Unit 2 The units taught can be designed to suit the class.
What you need to get on
Grade 5 in PE at GCSE (at least grade 5 on theory). Grade 5 in Science. An active interest in sport or coaching.
