p This course will cover various aspects of the sport industry developing your confidence in sport subject knowledge leadership coaching ability and team work. /p p This is the course for you if you learn through a variety of practical and theoretical sessions. What you need to get on

p School leavers will need 2 GCSEs at grade 4 or above. /p p English and/or Mathematics are desirable especially if you wish to progress onto the Level 3 90 Credit Sport / Sport Science or Active IQ Fitness courses. /p p If your Maths and/or English grade is below a 4 grade for GCSE and you are under 19 you will be required to study and retake these subjects as part of your college studies and attend all classes to support this endeavour. /p p Students can progress from a Level 1 Diploma

How you are assessed

Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
