What the college says
This qualification will develop your skills and knowledge in sport, exercise and fitness. You will also gain personal transferable skills that can be applied to the workplace or further study. You will need to have a passion for sport and an interest in exploring health, fitness,performance, coaching, sports science and events.
What you need to get on
GCSE grade 9-2 (A*-E) in English and maths. Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered. Evidence of a commitment to learn and the ability to study at this level shown at interview.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
A first step that builds towards Level 2.
