What the college says
Level 1 Sport is an ideal course for a school leaver and is designed as an introduction to college and will focus on the personal, social and employability skills you will need to progress to further study in sport (Level 2 Sport). Applicants also have the opportunity to progress onto employment-based programmes such as the Supported Internship course or an Apprenticeship in the sporting world.
What you need to get on
Grade 2 or above in GCSE English Language and Maths (or equivalent) Aged 16/17 years Applicants should have a keen interest in a career in sport and be prepared to, at times, take part in practical based activity also.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
