The Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training is a qualification that enables successful applicants to practice as a fully qualified Personal Trainer, and be able to take on and work with clients on a professional basis to generate income. The course prepares learners to work 1-to-1 with potential clients and groups in order to assess, plan, deliver and review clients and training programmes in a range of environments. Additionally providing an understanding of business acumen and adequate nutrition. This qualification is aimed at people who currently hold a valid Level 2 Gym Instructing qualification and wish to progress further into Personal Training and build their own client base or progress their professional skills further to increase opportunities within a fitness organisation.

What you need to get on

The Isle of Wight College has standard entry requirements for full time college courses, depending on the level of the course to be studied. For this course, a minimum of 5 GCSEs grade 4/C or above normally including Maths and English language. In addition, applicants must hold a valid Level 2 qualification in Gym Instructing. Progressing students without English or Maths at GCSE grade 4/C will be required to study these as part of their programme of study.
