What the college says
During the course pupils will have the opportunity to attend university lectures and field trips into different aspects of modern day sport. This course is an ideal introduction for active sports participants wishing to follow a career in either PE teaching or coaching, it would also be useful to those considering a career in sports medicine or personal training. Many of our previous students have gone on to study sport at the universities of; Brunel, Loughborough, St Marys and UEL to name but a few.
What you need to get on
All subjects have an average points score (APS) requirement; this is the average GCSE grade achieved in Year 11.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The A-level-equivalent step, and what universities and employers ask for.
