Studying Spanish will give you a more international perspective on the world and help you to understand more about Spanish-speaking cultures. It will help you to develop opinions on many current topics of global interest. On the course you will learn to: n Write and say what you want to say, expressing yourself confidently in non-rehearsed situations. n Express opinions on issues which concern you and the speakers of the language. n Understand how the language works and how you can use it for your purposes. n Translate from and to Spanish. n Summarise a passage of Spanish.

In addition to our general entry requirements, you must have: GCSE English grade 4 GCSE Spanish grade 5

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
