This course is aimed at students who wish to change course during the academic year, the course is a fulltime program for students 16-18 years old which runs over 3 days a week.The course offers valuable life and employment skills such as confidence and self-esteem, learning important concepts and skills, mental and physical health, well-being, personal and social development skills, physical and emotional well-being, transitioning to adult hood. Working in local and wider communities, co operative working and teamwork, taking control of a leading role, keeping others engaged, making sure people have tasks to do, overlooking the workplace or situation, reintegrate learners, guidance, inspiration or influence for/ over others, employment skills, Time management, coordination, deadlines for tasks, assigning jobs for people to complete, career planning, workflow, planning and organization between individuals or groups, employment skills.
What you need to get on
You must have a GCSE Grade 4(C) in English, You must have a GCSE Grade 4(C) in Maths, Applicants will need to participate in an interview process before enrolling onto the program.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
