Do you love sports? Do you want to be better at one or more sports? Would you like to have a job in sports someday? If so, this course is great for you. This is an Entry Level to Level One programme which is aimed at learners who would benefit from extra support in their learning and are looking at building the required skills for a career in the sports industry. The Skills for Sport course is ideal if you enjoy active sports and is a tailored programme focused on developing confidence, independence and the soft skills required to successfully achieve goals. You will help to organise and participate in sports events and compete in regular inter-college tournaments. All courses include English and Maths, you will follow accredited Functional Skills qualifications, as well as Continuing Personal/Professional Development, tutorials, enrichment and enterprise projects and a work experience placement. You will have access to excellent indoor and outdoor sport facilities, where you can practise: Football Badminton Table-tennis Gym Basketball Cricket and much more.
