What you need to get on
We require GCSE’ in English and Maths at a Level 4 or Functional Skills at a Level 2. Completion of a Level 1 in a construction course or meaningful work experience in construction is also required.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
