During the course, topics are split into two different components. Component one being Philosophy and Religion, component two is Christianity and Ethics. Year 12 will compromise of - Philosophy and Religion - topics will range from Self, Death and the Afterlife to Religious Identity. Christianity and Ethics - topics range from Arguments for the Existence of God to Evil and Suffering. Year 13 will compromise of - Philosophy and Religion - topics will range from The Nature and Function of Religion to Religion and Sexual Identity. Christianity and Ethics - topics range from Miracles to Free Will and Moral Responsibility.

What you need to get on

Level 3 Academic Route Entry Requirements: Minimum of five Grade 5s or above in separate subjects. A minimum of a Grade 5 in English or Maths and at least a Grade 4 in the other. Each subject will also have their own entry criteria which have to be adhered to.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
