Individuals who operate and carry out felling and processing medium size trees over 380mm and up to 760mm as part of their work in arboriculture, forestry, or other industries. It will provide the individual with the knowledge, understanding and skills required to carry out this work. It covers hazards, risks, controls, emergency procedures, legislation, industry good practice, felling and processing medium size tress over 380mm up to 760mm. After successful completion you will be able to safely fell and process trees over 380mm to 760mm in diameter.
What you need to get on
You will need to be at least 16 years of age and should hold a �Certificate of Competence� in the following units: - Award in Chainsaw Maintenance and Crosscutting - Award in Felling and Processing small trees up to 380mm (Verification of these units must be produced prior to the start of the course)
