Do you enjoy learning about the science and practice of growing plants? Are you looking for a change of career working in parks and gardens? Do you want a part time course that leads to a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification? This course can be taken alone or in combination with the RHS Certificate in Practical Horticulture Level 2.
What you need to get on
To join the course you must have:----Achieved a Level 1 qualification or anequivalent level in another subject area.--Achieved Grade D English language or Equivalant--An interest in classroom based learning--A positive attitude to excellent attendance and meeting assessment deadlines--
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
