What will I learn on this course? Component 1 Philosophy of Religion Arguments for the existence of God, evil and suffering, religious experience, religious language, miracles, self, death and the afterlife. Component 1 Ethics Ethical theories, issues of human life and death, issues of animal life and death, meta ethics, free will and moral responsibility, conscience, Bentham and Kant. Component 2 Study of Religion and Dialogues Sources of wisdom and authority, self, death and the afterlife, good conduct and key moral principles, expressions of religious identity, Christianity, gender and sexuality, Christianity and science, Christianity and the challenge of secularisation and Christianity, migration and religious pluralism.
