'We ought to love people and use things, the essence of immorality is to love things and use people.'(Joseph Fletcher 1905 -1991) In the course you will be studying the following units: - Philosophy of Religion; - Religion and Ethics; - An introduction to the study of Christianity. The A Level course allows you to explore in depth arguments surrounding the existence of God, challenges to belief, modern day ethical issues and the challenges of the Bible for modern day lives. Students with an A Level in Religious Studies have successfully studied Medicine, Law, Education and Science.

What you need to get on

At least 5 4-9 GCSE grades (or A*-C legacy GCSE grades) with a minimum of 5 or above in GCSE RE

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
