Psychology allows you to develop an awareness of complexities of individuals and how this influences all behaviour. By gaining knowledge on the varying perspectives, you are asked to consider the merits of these perspectives and how they can be challenged. This knowledge will allow learners to understand and explain a range of behaviours and topics and implement ways in which they can be investigate.
What you need to get on
To take 3 A Levels at Allerton Grange you are required to have a minimum of 5 GCSE subjects at grade 4 and above. Psychology specific requirements are Maths grade 5 or above and English Language grade 5 or above. Science at grade 5 or above.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
