The Psychology course has been designed to provide a broad and engaging introduction to the scope and nature of Psychology as a science. The emphasis is on applying knowledge and understanding rather than just acquiring knowledge, thereby developing students? transferable skills of analysis, evaluation and critical thinking.

What you need to get on

• An Attainment 8 (as defined by the DfE) score “Attainment 8” of 55.0 or greater. • Passes at Grades 4-9 in GCSE English Language and Mathematics. • Students wishing to study more than two of the subjects: Mathematics; Biology; Chemistry; Physics; Economics or Psychology at Advanced Level GCE will need to achieve an Attainment 8 score of 65.0 or greater.
