This course develops an understanding of how the mind both influences and explains behaviour: psychology does this by focusing on a number of different topics such as: mental illness and abnormal behaviour, memory, the formation of attachments, stress and the research methods that psychologists use.

What you need to get on

5 good GCSEs, in addition to study psychology ideally you will have a grade 5 in Mathematics (or have exam based evidence of your competence in Mathematics) and a grade 5 in English or an equivalent subject.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
