You will gain an understanding of human interaction and behaviour that you will be able to apply to your everyday life. You will find the information useful in a range of jobs, from sales to care work to policing. Psychology opens lots of doors in the future and is a highly valued qualification.

What you need to get on

6 or above in both English Language and Literature, 6 or above in all Sciences. 6 or above in Maths. Minimum total of 5 GCSES at grade 5 or above. No homework/effort gradings of a 3.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
