What the college says
Psychology is the study of the human mind. It offers the opportunity to consider different manifestations of human behaviour and explore the way in which different schools of psychology have explained the causes of that behaviour. It will appeal to students who are interested in understanding the complexities of human behaviour such as, why do we commit war crimes? Why do some girls develop anorexia and not others? What is depression? What can we become addicted to?
What you need to get on
Minimum grade 6 in English Language. Minimum grade B or 6 in science is also desirable
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
