What the college says
Psychology is the scientific study of behaviour and mental processes. The A Level course aims to develop your knowledge and understanding of psychological theories, concepts, methodology, research and applications. You will develop your understanding of the different areas of Psychology, and develop your skills of analysis, interpretation, research and evaluation. This is a two year course and will be examined at the end of year 13.
What you need to get on
Grade 6 in English Literature and grade 6 in Biology or grades 6-6 in Combined Science. Grade 6 in Psychology, if taken.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
