What the college says
A general definition of Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behaviour. World Development (80 marks) will focus on Sociology within Britain but also will analyse developing countries and underdeveloped countries and the role that developed countries such as Britain and USA have played and are still playing in either helping or hindering development in other countries. Crime and Deviance (Criminology) (120 marks) focuses on a variety of problems within modern society. It totals 60% of the A2 course and 30% of the overall A level grade.
