Design & technology is about acquiring knowledge & understanding of the following areas: - Materials and components - Design and market influences - Processes and manufacture - Communication skills The course involves applying this knowledge through the skills of designing, making and communication to practical problems, which arise in everyday life and in industrial and commercial contexts.
What you need to get on
Grade 5 or above in GCSE design & technology. Students who haven’t taken a D&T subject will also be considered.
