What the college says
Are you interested in working with children? Considering a long-term qualification in childcare or teaching support work but not sure you’re ready? This short course rooted in child development could benefit you. You will achieve a L1 qualification in Exploring Occupational Studies - Understanding Children’s Social and Emotional Development.
What you need to get on
Age of 19 years old (we can sometimes accept 16+, please ask) must have an interest in the topic and a commitment to complete the full course. You will need to provide valid I.D and may be asked for proof of income/employment status for funding. You must be eligible to study in the U.K.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
