What the college says
p This course is a gentle introduction to studying and learning at college. You will attend college from 10.00am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday attending a range of different lessons. /p p The mornings will be a variety of learning including Functional Skills maths English and a range of modules from the gateway Entry 3 Award in Progression for example budgeting managing money and career planning. The afternoons will focus on the Certificate in Business and Retail with practical units based around the college retail outlet for example displaying merchandise and handling stock. /p p /p
What you need to get on
This course is open to all learners we particularly welcome students who have been out of learning for a while.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
What this level means
A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
