What the college says
This course aims to develop learners independence and confidence focusing on their transition into adulthood. Working individually and in small groups, learners explore employment and forward planning, independent living skills, community inclusion and healthy living. Within a classroom community, learners explore their skills and abilities, developing thier communication, self-management and resilience as well as identifying opportunities to become more independent. This course embraces practical skills and experiential learning. Learners will complete qualifications in Personal Growth and Wellbeing, Workskills and Art and Design.
