This course is intended for beginners to Pottery. It is not suitable for learners who are advanced in the subject, or who have previously been enrolled on our Pottery - Develop and Explore, Pottery - Experiment with Techniques or Pottery - Masterclass courses (unless advised by the tutor). We run this course at 2 venues; our Leicester Adult Education College and our Bishopdale Adult Learning Hub. Please confirm you are booked on the correct course at the time of enrolment. Once you have completed a maximum of 3 Beginners courses you can progress onto our more advanced courses, such as Pottery - Develop & Explore. Please note: Learners attending Pottery for Beginners cannot attend our PAYG sessions until they move onto the advanced pottery courses.

What you need to get on

There will be no exams or qualifications, as the course will focus on creative activities. The Tutor will use a combination of group demonstrations and one-to-one support. To ensure fair access to our high-demand tailored learning courses and to better support your learning journey, we are moving to a termly enrolment cycle.
