We follow the AQA examination board for A Level Government and Politics. This course provides an opportunity for students to study a subject that is new to them and all students will be on an equal footing when they commence. Students will study both the British and American political systems. Students who study this subject will gain a contemporary knowledge of the working world. As a subject it is always changing and students need to maintain a grasp on the changes. This course is useful for students pursuing English, History or International Relations courses as well as Journalism.

5+ GCSEs graded 4-9, including 4+ in both Maths and English.

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
