Politics is an exciting and relevant subject with an emphasis on contemporary politics and current affairs. It is offered as A ‘level only. Topics studied are: Paper 1: Government & Politics of the UK Paper 2: Government & Politics of the USA and comparative politics (comparing UK and US systems). Paper 3: Political Ideas – a study of three compulsory ideologies: Liberalism, Conservatism, Socialism and Anarchism.
