This course is designed as an introductory level that will teach the basic skills and processes required to pursue a career in Plumbing. It gives you the opportunity to pick up core skills and knowledge to progress to our Level 2 plumbing courses. You will cover subjects including: Central heating systems, Drainage, Hot and cold water systems, Electrical and scientific principles, and Health and safety practices.

What you need to get on

GCSE grade 9-2 (A*-E) in English and maths. Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered. Evidence of a commitment to learn and the ability to study at this level shown at interview.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
