If you have an interest in the construction industry and are thinking about becoming a plumber, the Level 1 Introduction to Building Service Engineering in the Plumbing Sector Study Programme is a great taster course, teaching you basic skills including plumbing science and electrical installation, as well as health and safety, environmental protection, sustainable technologies and a broad introduction to building services engineering. Youll also be able to develop your maths and English, alongside working on your Employability Skills Passport developed with local employers, ensuring that you are prepared to move into work. This Programme teaches you the basic skills you need to become an entry level plumber working with water systems or a construction site work. You can also progress onto the Level 2 Plumbing Study Programme or an Apprenticeship.
