Develop the skills and knowledge needed to become a craftsperson in plastering with the Level 2 Technical Certificate in Plastering. The course is taught by industry specialists in superbly equipped workshops, where you will develop proficiency in this highly skilled trade. You will have an opportunity to learn about different materials, applying external rendering, floor screed systems and techniques such as direct bond, taping and jointing.
What you need to get on
You should have some basic plastering skills or have completed the Level 1 Plastering course. Additionally, you will need basic English and maths and a knowledge of some simple computing to be able to complete the course successfully. If you are struggling in any of these areas, we can help you acquire these skills and support you to gain qualifications which will help to increase your employability going forward.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
