What you need to get on
It is recommended that you have: a Plastering Level 1qualification Functional Skills Level 1 or above in English and Maths a real desire and enthusiasm to learn a trade within the construction industry At enrolment, you will have an interview with our course tutors to ensure the course is right for you. You may also need to complete an initial assessment in English and maths, depending on your grades.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
