Level Physics is a great opportunity to nd out in more detail how the world around you functions. You will learn about the strange and intriguing world of quantum physics. Niels Bohr said of quantum physics “Anyone not shocked by quantum mechanics has not yet understood it.” If you like a challenge, Physics is a course made for you. It will improve your problem solving ability which is an essential part of most graduate job specications. You will have opportunities to learn independently, collaboratively, through practical work and in one-to-one sessions with your teacher. You will learn how to think more deeply about the world around you, apply knowledge in real world situations and use Maths skills to analyse different situations. Physics combines really well with Mathematics, Chemistry, Design Technology and Business Studies. By studying A Level Physics and achieving a good grade, you will be someone who is in demand. It will open lots of doors as employers value a Physics A Level/degree very highly. You are on the road to a rewarding and enjoyable career.

Average Point Score: 5.5 Mathematics GCSE Grade 5 English Language GCSE Grade 4 Grade 5/5 in GCSE Combined Science or a Grade 5 in GCSE Physics To have a better chance of succeeding, 6/6 in Combined Science or a 6 in Physics is recommended
