The aim of this course is to encourage candidates to: develop their interest in and enthusiasm for Physics, including developing an interest in further study and careers in Physics appreciate how society makes decisions about scientific issues and how the sciences contribute to the success of the economy and society develop and demonstrate a deeper appreciation of the skills, knowledge and understanding of How Science Works develop essential knowledge and understanding of different areas of Physics and how they relate to each other.
What you need to get on
7 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications at grades C or above including GCSE Maths and English. A grade B or above is required for subjects to be studied at advanced level.
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
