Physics is crucial to understanding the world around us and the world beyond us. It is the most basic and fundamental science. Physics will challenge your imagination with concepts like relativity and string theory. It leads to great discoveries and technologies which change our lives. By studying Physics you will study the universe from the largest galaxies to the smallest sub atomic particle. There are a wide range of opportunities to develop your understanding of the nature of science throughout the Physics course. In second year Physics you will also study an additional topic from a range of options based on your particular area of interest.
