This is a rigorous and interesting course which will prepare you well for further study in Physics, Engineering and many other areas. You will develop a deep understanding of physical sciences including many abstract aspects requiring the manipulation of mathematical formulae.

What you need to get on

Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade 9-4 (or equivalent) including Grade 6 in Science, Additional Science and Mathematics. Experience shows that your chances of success are greater in this subject if you have a Grade 6 in English Language.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
